Flex Core

The Flex Core is the heart of Metro Automation's series of Automated and Reconfigurable Robotic Cells . The Core is based on the Adept™ Series Robots and associated Controllers. The AutoFlex 2000™ product line has three main work envelopes: SCARA, Cartesian, and Rotary. The Flex Core is designed to handle and control all the optional Flex Effector , Flex Nest , and Flex Feeding systems presented in the AutoFlex 2000™ product family. Metro Automation's Rotary Index System is cost competitive for certain multistation assembly operations. Metro Automation provides the Flex Core with tight tolerance design for high accuracy, precision-based parts placement. The system specifications will vary depending on the Flex Core System selected.
