Automotive Seatbelt Retractor G-Sled Test Station

The G-Sled Station automatically tests a completed automotive seatbelt retractor assembly in the "in-car" position, forward impact and 0.7 g's. It also performs a 45° must lock test and a 15° no lock test. Only one operator is required to load/unload the retractor assembly.
The table is welded steel tubing, powder coated to your company's color specification. The table has an approximate footprint of 30" x 30" and features heavy duty leveling feet and casters. All steel wear surfaces are hardened for durability.
An operator activated opto-touch switch with anti-tie down initiates each cycle. Each G-Sled station includes an operator control panel with an on/off key switch plus indicators for: reset, good part, bad part, good parts counter, buzzer (any failure) and model select switch. The panel also includes an E-Stop, status lights and an operator interface display.
A "pass" mark is applied at the end of a successful test. A servo motor provides accurate and repeatable motion. The servo controller is also used for machine control. All wires and I/O are numbered and labeled for easier maintenance.
