Company Overview:

Metro Automation was founded in 1989 to assemble lithography equipment for the semiconductor industry. Over the past couple decades, the organization has grown through vertical expansion to include the capability to design, fabricate, assemble and test a wide range of equipment, machinery and instruments.

Metro Automation has actively diversified into multiple equipment industries to leverage the internal manufacturing and engineering strength developed through the production of semiconductor equipment.

Metro Automation has extensive experience in the machining and fabrication of stainless steels, hardened steels, plastics and composites. Equipment assembly experience spans a wide range of machines from fully digital electronics test stations to indexed and continuous motion processing equipment. Projects include small prototype design equipment to multi-million dollar turnkey production equipment. Metro Automation's strength is the in-house capability for all facets of equipment manufacture. This allows for cost control, quality assurance and lead time minimization. Metro Automation routinely performs complete system check out including full machine operation, certification and configuration at our facilities prior to machine acceptance by the customer. Systems are also re-certified at the customer's site following delivery of the equipment. Required training and operation of equipment is also provided to suit the needs of the customer.
